TOMAGWA's main office and clinic is located on School Street in Tomball with a smaller clinic in Magnolia and a satellite clinic in Waller. TOMAGWA was founded in 1989 by a group of community minded citizens. They initially located in St. Anne’s Catholic Church and volunteers handled operations until the first Executive Director, Judy Deyo, previously a nurse volunteer, was hired in 1996. Currently more than 500 volunteers serve 3,000+ patients with 22,700 encounters with patients. TOMAGWA has more than 5,000 dental visits per year and moved into their current facilities at 455 School St., Suite #30, in 2009. There they have 8 exam rooms and a dental exam room with 4 dental chairs. Funding comes primarily from donations (90%) with 10% coming from patients. TOMAGWA is a comprehensive family practice serving low-income, uninsured families and individuals. It offers a broad range of primary and non-emergency healthcare services in the Tomball, Magnolia and Waller communities.
