Lion Treasurer Al Gerhardt made a visit to the Hempstead Lions Club. The two clubs are coming together to help a family whose 3 ½-year-old son had a serious accident in his home. Tomball Lions Club Treasurer Al Gerhardt attended the Hempstead Lions Club Board Meeting at the Classic Event Café in Hempstead, Texas. Lion Al Gerhardt made a presentation to the Hempstead Lions Club concerning the child Stanton Ashley Jr. son of Stanton Ashley Sr. and Shelly Ashley. The two clubs are coming together to help the family that lives in Hempstead by applying for a District 2-S2 Humanitarian Relief Foundation grant to help the family with financial bills. Once the HRF request is approved the Grant will match the club’s funds up to a total of $1,250. The final amount of $2,500 will be sent to the appropriate hospital.
