The Golf team registration started at 11 am. All teams followed the shotgun start at 1 pm. Lunches from the Rib Tickler were given to all golfers and Lion workers prior to the start of the tournament.

Tournament prizes included 4 hole in one prizes sponsored by Tomball Ford. There was also closest to the pin and longest drive prizes and 3 team places that received special awards.

Prior to the awards ceremony dinner from the High Meadow Ranch was served to all players and lion workers. After dinner, the awards ceremony was started. The first place team received trophies and a monetary award. 2nd & 3rd place teams received monetary awards.  Both the longest drive and closest to the pin winners were presented with a High Meadow Ranch Pro Shop Gift Certificate.

In addition to the awards being presented, there were raffle items that were given away to all of the golfers.  Some of the raffle prizes included numerous Golf packages from High Meadow Ranch. There was also a Golf package from Northgate Country Club obtained by Lion Erin Stapleton. There were many other raffle items presented to the golfers by D & S Lawn and Auto on Main Street and Luedke Drywall in Tomball.

The Tomball Lions Club received many good comments about the Tournament which showed how successful the tournament fund raiser was. The Tomball Lions Club was able to raise about $13,500. These funds are used by the club to provide aid and scholarships to the Tomball Community.
