2014 Tomball Lions Club 20th Annual Car Show

The Tomball Lions Club holds its Annual Car Show the 1st Sunday after Easter each year.  The car show raises money for the charities that it supports.  The Tomball Lions Club supports special needs children by allowing them a free week at the Texas Lions Camp located in Kerrville, Texas.  The Club also provides eye exams and eyes glasses (using TSO in Tomball) to needy children in the Tomball School Systems.  The Club also supplies aid to special needs families in the Tomball Area (City of Tomball and Tomball ISD).  The aid is approved by the Tomball Lions Club Board of Directors.

The 20th Annual Tomball Lions Club Car Show held at the Depot in Tomball, Texas on April 27, 2014 was a huge success.  There were 100 paid entries with the proceeds going to the above charities.  The show was open from 8am-3pm and a large crowd came to spend the day looking at all of the awesome vehicles.  The Lions provided a huge BBQ pit and sold all types of barbeque and drinks to the public.  Booths were set up by vendors for the guests to browse and buy.  The Club also received special donations and we’re happy to report that all the funds raised will be used to help our special needs families. The Tomball Lions Club would like to thank their Sponsors (Shipley’s Donuts and Tomball Ford).  They would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came to make it a huge success.
